LITRA Retractable Roofs (First Class System Motorized Enclosures) is 1/3 fix and 2/3 retractable. In special condition our Retractable Roof can be 1/4 fix and 3/4 retractable. With a simple click you can open and close LITRA retractable roofs or retractable enclosures and enjoy the summer and sunny days or keep the retractable enclosures close and be protected from sudden rain, strong wind, pollution, snow, breeze.
Litra Retractable Roofs are tested to resist winds up to 120 mph.
LITRA Retractable Roofs can be heated in winter and cooled in summer for the utmost comfort. It is also equipped with an integrated drainage system that collects and carries out the rainwater. A multi-layered, highly resistant patented system called Stratustex is available upon request. It prevents condensation and thermally insulates the enclosure for total comfort in all seasons.
The special inner material prevents harmful UV rays from entering through the Motorized Retractable Roof and Retractable Enclosures, while at the same time it avoids the unpleasant greenhouse effect. The Motorized Enclosures has no rails on the ground, therefore it’s indicated for the impaired people. It can be custom made and installed anywhere. It can be fitted with lateral enclosures (Lateral Enclosures or Vertical Side Enclosures) which are independent from the roofs and completely removable.
Litra USA retractable roof is possible with two solutions of roofs: Standard Motorized Enclosures or Sunroom Roofs. They can be fixed (fixed enclosures) or sliding (sliding roofs systems). The structure is completely removable and it’s regarded by municipalities as a non permanent structure. For businesses we developed a special series of commercial sliding roofs which can be adapted to the size of the area that is needed to be covered (we manufacture custom shape). LITRA Retractable Roofs are design in many sliding sections made of powder coated aluminium profiles. The Roof can be open from the centre to the side or side to side. Built-in water canalization integrated into the system by means of horizontal and vertical aluminium profiles. Divided into three or more sections the enclosure system is 1/3 fixed and 2/3 retractable. Retractable Roofs has a dome shape with arches of different sizes that they one into the other. The structure of Retractable roofs can be fastened using screw anchors or chemical anchors, to ensure a higher resistance to weather agents. UPPER COVERING - STRATUS-TEX STRATUS-TEX ® BASIC Covering material can be made of very hight quality and strong PVC : • Waterproof heavy duty PVC , used for the upper part (680 gr.), highly resistant to tear and wear – colour of LITRA choice – Fire Marshall of California fire rated • Upper covering made out of a PVC fabric called Opatex Blackout (850 gr.), composed of three superimposed layers that ensure the utmost comfort within the Roof Covering system made of two superimposed layers of technical fabric. • Waterproof heavy duty PVC , used for the upper part (680 gr.), highly resistant to tear and wear – colour of LITRA choice – Fire Marshall of California fire rated • Polyester decorative fabric – colour of LITRA choice - for a more comfortable atmosphere. Exclusive patent, owned by the LITRA, which consists in a multi-layered system with two types of fabrics. It improves the thermal insulation of the retractable roofs while at the same time offering the following advantages: • It helps reduce the costs of heating and air conditioning • It avoids any condensation problems STRATUS-TEX COMFORT ® Insulated covering system made of three superimposed layers of technical fabric for the utmost comfort. • Waterproof heavy duty PVC , used for the upper part (680 gr.), highly resistant to tear and wear – colour of LITRA choice – Fire Marshall of California fire rated • Insulating material made of sponge and PVC; it reduces the heat in summer (40%) and helps creating a fresh, comfortable environment.
